Well this has to be one of my favorites.. Probably because of the label..it is a butter paddle and this just fit the bill.. I painted this black and topped it with Yellow ochre paint. I have a great wooden piece that I have painted black then put a burnt orange on top and sanded and stained with brie wax..I then added a wonderful old time label that Rene from Two Mile Creek primitives made. This has been decopauged on then I added a bit more stain to to it and then put a clear acrylic sealer over the top. I apologize for the pictures, cause you really can't see the wonderful orange color this is..these photos were taken about 10:30 tonight...But This would look great all year round or added just to your fall decorating..That is why I chose the apple cider label as that is when you start picking the apples and making that yummy cider...

I am so pleased with the way this one turned out..It truly looks old and worn..I hand stitched this sampler and stained the fabric. Then I sewed olive piping around the edge and backed it with a brown patterned calico. I then stuffed this with cedar chips..so it smells wonderful and has a real old fashioned look about it..This measures 11 x 10.

This is the first of my Americana pillows.. This has been hand stitched on an interesting fabric that I don't know the name of..:) It looks like cross stitch fabric but is a softer fabric. Well I am in the mood for Halloween..I think I am all year round..It is my favorite decorating holiday..and I just got this new cross stitch pattern for my embroidery machine and just had to give it a try and I am so pleased with the way it turned out..A long process though this took 4 hours just to do the embroidery part of it..This has been machine done on cream wool felt and then I sewed an olive green piping around the edges and stuffed it..I also added a few cedar chips to the stuffing..it smells nice..I used a great halloween fabric for the backing of the pillow too.. This pillow measures 9x7. This will tuck in just about anywhere and will surely add a nice holiday touch to your halloween decorating...
