Meet GeRtiE... she is just as whimsical as can be..she is made with muslin and is ragged stuffed,(her body is) and she is sporting a jacket made out of an old army green wool blanket..she has 3 beads for teeth, 2 button eyes and a rusty nail for a nose..her flaxen hair is needle felted on..and she is holding a little paper mache box that has been covered in fabric..I machine embroidered little ornaments on the front on 100% wool and added green rick rack around the edges..it is hung with a strong brown thread around her neck..she is approx. 16 inches tall. She comes from the pattern by Kentucky Primitives.
